"Let the teaching of Christ live in you richly. Use all wisdom to teach and instruct each other by singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Everything you do or say should be done to obey Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus." ~Col. 3:16-17  From Rev. Spena, "Since seminary days, these words have guided my actions in ministry to lead God's people into God's presence to accomplish God's purposes and bring God glory in our worship and as a result of our coming together, give Him glory in our daily living."

Although Mrs. Carrie is a lifelong resident of NC, she has had the opportunity to travel all over the US. She can honestly say, there is no place like home and she proudly calls this area her home. Born in Fayetteville and raised in Harnett County most of her life, she has dedicated her life to learning. While she officially earned two college degrees, she holds a litany of certifications in an array of subjects.  She also has over 8 years of business experience at manager level and above. She is proud to have homeschooled her children, through graduation, who have both gone on to major universities. She is a strong woman of faith who stands firm on God's Word and is passionate about helping others cultivate a genuine and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She has been a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church for over 18 years, taught children and adults but her heart lies with the youth where she currently serves as Youth Director in conjunction with a dedicated Leadership Team.  She is honored to be the wife of Dewain for over 30 years and the mother of Shelby and Nicholas and knows the three of them are the greatest gift God ever gave her.

"Jesus did not give me a religion. He gave me life. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, if it were not for Him, I would never have made it through the things I have faced in life. He has been with me since I was a child and no matter what, He has never left me. He never called me to fit in; He called me to be who He created me to be. He called me to make the Grace and Mercy of an invisible God, visible wherever I am."
